I don't know you, but by just reading a couple of your comments I can tell you're a special kind of person. You appear to be very insightful, honest, self-reflective and very motivated and goal-driven. Please pardon my assumptions based on little information, but I believe your life experience and insights can help me broaden my view of the following;
Why is it you think a lot of people seem to 'accept their fate' when it comes to things happening in their lives. People often seem to say: "I can't do that, because of X or Y", but if you were to say: "I'll give you a million dollars if you could", they would have no problem achieving it. Similar examples could be given of course.
I have a hard time dealing with these kind of mindsets in daily life. Do you often see people with 'disabilities' (blindness or other) where you think: "If you just tried a little harder, you could easily achieve this"? Where is the line between an excuse and a true impossibility, and is there any way to judge or measure this in another person than yourself?
This may not be a kind of question you would have expected, but I'm really interested to hear what you think!
