I grew up just outside of Portland, then moved to Columbus to go to Ohio State. Comparing the two, no football is not big in Oregon. Lately, when I've gone home to visit, it has been more popular. I see Seahawks gear everywhere.

Yeah but Columbus doesn't have a monopoly on that. Alabama, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia... I'm talking the states, not the schools. They're all on the same level of "rabid" as Ohio.

That was sort if what I meant. If we're comparing Oregon to the Midwest or South, it's not a big football state.
