I love you for not dodging these questions.

I was in a band and we had a radio rep. He got us on modern rock radio in some large markets. How does this work?

The best I could figure was that since he rep'd some big bands like Aerosmith, he'd give the station an exclusive on a big new single for a week or so in exchange for playing our single a set number of times for week.

I remember when stations would get exclusives. You'd hear the new Green Day single and a voice would say "KROQ" in the middle so another station couldn't swipe it.

I remember that our label paid this guy a lot to get us added to playlists.

It was amazing how many people would show up at our gigs in markets where we were on modern rock radio.

I bought a car from a dealer for $26k last year. Cash. I told them to give me a total so I could go across the street to bofa and get a cashiers check.

They said I had to go through finance and run a credit check in case the check was bad. I offered to (1) have the salesman watch them cut the check or (2) to get cash or (3) to walk away.

They let me drive away after paying with a cashiers check. But I asked the bank if I could have $26k in cash. The manager kind of laughed and said “of course, why not?”

However this is a BofA in Los Angeles so maybe that’s different.

100% this bullshit.

I had my second spinal fusion last year, this time at S1/L5.

I live in West L.A. I had an Rx for Percocet 10/325.

There was not a single CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid or private pharmacy who had any. The few pharmacists who would comment told me that they didn’t feel like messing with it.

And they refuse to stock check opiate pain meds on the phone.

I finally got the Rx filled at the hospital after driving around in horrific pain all day.

This is unacceptable. There are people who need these medications.

There are all sorts of negative neural ramifications that go with going through intense post-surgical pain. But go ahead and tell people that they should just take ibuprofen and meditate.

It’s a disaster. It’s a witch hunt.
