Do CIA field agents really retire? Or do they just "go away"?

I'm a 62 year old dude, still working, that tried to adopt a dog last year. I bought a house 3 years ago, and spent 900 dollars putting up a nice stockade fence, half for whynot and half for a dog I might get. I didn't want to mess with trying to train a puppy, so I looked for a young, housebroken dog. I found one that a shelter had "fostered" out to some woman. After filling out more shit, including PERSONAL REFERENCES, this insane bitch has the nerve to tell me that the eight hours a day that I would be gone (working!) WAS TOO MUCH! The dog wouldn't be okay with that. Excuse me ? The fucking dog TOLD her that? I swear I'll NEVER deal with shelters again, because when you deal with "these" people, you're dealing with people WHO HAVE NO LIVES BUT TO ADOPT CATS AND DOGS! I'll go to a fucking puppy mill first and spend 700 dollars. Plus, after one other woman refused to show me the conditions that the dog was kept in, I did some diligent searching. Turns out the "rescue shelter" was actually a PUPPY MILL using the cover of a shelter to move dogs. It's all about the money, folks...
