First, the reason why I asked that is because in your article that I cited, you don't address the positive aspects of the stimulus at all, when it is quite clear that there are some. You only talk about the negative aspects. If you're going to make the case that the stimulus was a bad policy decision, shouldn't you show that the negative aspects outweigh the positive?
Second, it appears to me that you think austerity would have been better for the economy, compared to stimulus. If that is the case, why would that be? And are there any examples of austerity working? It seems to me that austerity has not worked so well in parts of Europe, although that includes much different circumstances.
Third, what kinds of internships would you recommend for a freshman or sophomore econ major?
