I knew a guy who had a brain tumour at university. I later found out that he married, had a family, and lived a good life before he died. He died in his late twenties. Awful - but his wife, apparently, cherished the time they had and did not regret having children - in spite of the inevitable. All the best. I guess I'd like to think you will beat this thing - or at least have a long life living with it. But, even in the worst scenario, like my friend, you can still live a full life. All power to you.

The Police should not be elevated above the law. And because we afford them additional and significant powers they need to behave without reproach. People aren't angry that the Police sometimes need to use force or their invasive powers when the circumstances demand it. People are angry when the Police misuse those powers. And people get especially angry when the Police are not held to account for those abuses. The best thing that can happen to the Police is that this type of reporting continues and it enables the Police to weed out the assholes and to reset themselves so that they act appropriately and within the law at all times. It's precisely this kind of reporting that can save the Police. If you're truly an advocate for the Police then you should be absolutely demanding this type of transparency and accountability.

Danny, just wanted you to know that you wrote a movie that I absolutely love. I watch at least once a year and I love the nuanced script. No question, just a bit of love for you from New Zealand.
