YouTube has helped me with this a lot, especially vlog channels (heyitspriguel and JackieD Story). They talk at a rapid pace, but since it's daily life, the vocab isn't very specialized. I'm slowly but surely acclimating to the quick speech and I've even been able to add new vocab, just from hearing it (as opposed to reading, which I've relied on so far).

One warning: they use a lot of slang, which may or not be what you want. I like it, since it's how young people actually speak, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

No tengo pregunta, solo quiero decir que actualmente me he esforzado más en aprender español, y vale la pena (especialmente con respecto a la comprensión).

He disfrutado mucho aprender la juerga mexicana (¿dijiste que eres mexicano, sí?) como "no manches", "güey", cosas así. Sé que necesito tener cuidado con esa, ¡pero me fascina!
