Hello, Canadian here who has only heard about this in a 10th grade history class. From what I learned in class, I heard that the internment was supposed to be for Japanese-Canadian protection initially. Obviously with the government selling a lot of the possessions of the interned, I'm don't fully believe all of what I learned in history class. Can you comment on the conditions of where you lived (how you were treated, etc) before the internment took place?
