The Civil War by Ken Burns is a pretty good one.

Are you embarrassed for your country's egregious human rights violations, or do you live in denial?

How do you feel about the sentiment among many Americans that the US shouldn't be supporting an illegitimate, hyper aggressive, apartheid state with billions of dollars in aid and weapons every year?

Do you think AIPAC (one of the largest and most influential lobbies in the US), which lobbies on behalf of Israel, has had a corrupting influence on American elections, policy making and foreign policy?

I will understand if you completely ignore these questions and just answer insubstantial softball questions from Israel supporters. Please surprise me though with an honest answer, I'm all ears if you're up to it.

How have the revolts effected people in Germany? Are Germans nervous about Russia increasing their influence in the region?

Boy those were some tough questions he's going to avoid answering, eh?

Historically speaking Israel is younger than the US, and is a remnant of British colonialism kept alive by US support for much of the 20th century. I don't see them as a legitimate state with any long term stability, and it's widely held that Israel is a highly destabilizing influence on the region (which is why the US supports them, as a unified middle east is much harder to control).
