If I have to stretch financing for five+ years I can't afford that car. I would either save up for a bigger down payment or get something more affordable.

I guess I am too pragmatic. 1) I wouldn't buy a car that devalues ridiculously fast and 2) If my only options were financing for five+ years or leasing, I'd look at a cheaper car. I'm one of those posters from /r/frugal who buys CPO luxury cars and drives them for ten+ years. My current car is a 2000 Lexus. :)

I love a lot of these shows but....often there is, um, a lot of cross-pollination? I dunno if that's even the right word. But a lot of times you'll hear a story on one show then another then another until you think, "Does this guy have more than one fucking story to tell? Are there only six people on earth who have interesting things to talk about it?" Maddening. It's not unlike seeing something on facebook you saw on reddit a month ago. Is there a question here? Yes. WHY?
