I hate when people do an AMA about their medical conditions and then don't answer legitimate medical questions like this. What's the point of being a medical anomaly AMA if you only answer politically correct questions? A missed learning opportunity.

This is an actually important and interesting question, it's a shame OP isn't answering it. Guess we'll have to wait for someone else to do an AMA with the exact same condition who is less self-conscious.
