From reading some of the responses, I can't tell if you're more business or more engineer. Where do you align yourself? You can go 2D on this, or add in another variable if you desire.

How can the FCC encourage communities of individuals to create their own interconnected networks to complement or wholly supplant existing incumbent Internet service providers who are targets of regulation and subject to profit motives that may not have their subscribers best interests in mind?

Or, more simply, what the FCC doing to enable (read: get out of the way of) the growth of mesh networks?

Perhaps a little known role that you had was as the voice of Wreck-Gar in The Transformers: The Movie (1986). As far as I can tell, it was the first of your many voice acting gigs. How did you get into that role, and what are your thoughts on voice acting in general?
