I laughed about this primarily because I live in Germany, where nudity is preferred on TV to gore. So for the US, it's "there's too much nudity, cover it with more blood." Then it comes to Germany where it's more likely that we'd go "there's too much blood, cover it with nudity."

What lead to being attacked? You said you were fishing and then the bear. Did you have no warning?

There was a woman who did an AMA (within the last month, I think?) who also got attacked by a bear. It took off most of her face and she drove herself to get help after.

Another vote for Wiesbaden. If you want another American to go around town a little bit with you, I'd be fine doing it! My mother-in-law lives there, and even though I'm on the other side of the country, I can get over there without issue as long as I'm still in this area.

I don't know too much of the Wiesbaden area, but I'd be happy exploring right alongside!
