I am an Embry-Riddle student and was wondering how much does the Orion capsule weigh and what is it made of/how thick is the material to ensure it reaches Earth's surface safely?

I am majoring in aerospace engineering and NASA hires a lot of people from my school. Look at ERAU :)

Is the TSA really just security theater? Also, how do you feel about what the 3 NYC metro airports told the TSA?
