What effect do you think that the Rockefeller Foundation's focus on resilience, and its funding of Resilient Cities, is having on cities' and regions' focus on climate change and their work to mitigate it by cutting greenhouse gas emissions?

Do you think we need to be prioritizing the actions people can take that can help move us toward cutting greenhouse gas emissions? (On your book website's "beautiful solutions" page, solutions.thischangeseverything.org , very few of the items look to be practical ways of doing it, and without doing it, everything else gets much, much harder.) (Thank you though, for making the point that individual ecological footprint reduction alone is not the right focus for effort)

What you're doing is wonderful. I wonder if it would help with awareness, if you directed even 5% of the proceeds to a long-term structural solution? I think this would help, a lot, with civic education on the issue, as the message it would send is that short term aid, while necessary and admirable, by itself is not enough.

The other thing I'd wonder, is are there simple, compact-when-dismantled, one-man "mummy tents" that protect the sleeping bag and not too much else? Because protecting them from getting wet does seem like a good way to make your impact last longer.
