I think it would be nice if a large company, such as Google or Apple were to enter the 3D printer market. There are a couple things that I don't like about current manufacturers that would be solved by having a 3D printer backed by a larger company. I have yet to actually purchase a 3D printer, because a lot of them don't really seem to have much support from their manufacturer.

What are your thoughts on the future of 3D printing?
