My dad is a bus driver, over 15 years, and for the last year he has been on the waiting list to have a rotator cuff surgery because he has a 9mm tear in his muscle. It came about from years of repetitive motions with the wheel. Because he never told his bus company when he first started having the pain, he just took muscle pills from the doctor, they wont compensate him to the full extent that he could have been when he's recovering. This adds up especially since he is the primary source of income in our family, my mum doesn't work due to arthritis in her hands. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that you should probably talk to your union representative about the arthritis, just so its on record in case it gets worse.
