I truly appreciate your straightforward approach to the gun control issue.

You are right that it's ludicrous that no one is to be held accountable for this.

I'm sorry you're having to go through this.

I personally have trouble keeping myself motivated to learn languages once I get past an understanding of greetings and basic "chapter 1" lessons due to 60 hr work weeks and no real need to speak them. For example, I was fluent in German about 10 yrs ago, but can barely keep up listening to it now because there are no German speakers in my corner of the Bible belt. Any advice on how to motivate yourself when there's no real world practice opportunities available?

Fat guy trucker here. Can confirm. Would rather drive a truck than walk, and am better at it.

Edit: obligatory yay gold!

2) I don't think its feasible with current technology. If they create a dedicated truck lane so that the cars and trucks don't need to mingle except when joining or leaving traffic, then maybe. Remember, cars can speed up and slow down a lot quicker than any truck, so an accelerating truck throws a real variable into the works. A fully loaded truck can take a mile to a mile and a half to reach highway speeds, I drive concrete trucks, and it takes me almost 2 miles to reach 65mph when fully loaded. Plus our trucks are speed governed at 65 whereas cars and a lot of other trucks aren't governed at all. I think that until engine performance can reach the same level as cars (while hauling upwards of 45X the weight) that a dedicated truck lane and better programming for driverless vehicles is the only option. Unfortunately I don't believe current technology has the capabilities. Give it 5 to 10 years (or maybe more like 2-3) and ask me again.

3) Absolutely! If on the highway. In town, I try to just barely pull the cord so the air horn blows but doesn't blare you out of your senses. I also have a little bike horn attached yo my mirror assembly for when I'm in town or in a neighborhood and a kid is walking on the sidewalk making the motion. It sounds like a clown horn and gets more laughs than I ever imagined.

Odd number of trailers: turn wheel opposite direction. (Some guys say drive from the bottom of the steering wheel).

Even number of trailers: turn wheel like you would if pulling no trailers.

The big rule is: tiny corrections. The big 20 inch steering wheel makes it a little easier to know you're not moving it, but even a quarter inch of movement can translate to a couple of yards off track at the back. Just watch your mirrors intently and make tiny corrections just as quickly as you see that you are going to need them.
