Do you avoid telling immigration people that you are "working" in or from the countries you visit? If not, do you bother to get work visas from the countries you visit? What do you tell the immigration people is your "reason for visiting our country"?

Do you have someone back in Canada who acts as a "home base" for your legal and financial stuff? (e.g. driver's license renewals, voting info, health insurance, banking, etc.)
