If you've not seen "The Wire", you may like it. It is a brutal look at the criminal justice/political system. If you have seen it, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the "Hamster-dam" season, I believe season 4.

Yes absolutely! It was a great vehicle in the show for the discussion, but the whole sequence is so unrealistic that it made the season feel disconnected. I actually erased the word "unrealistic" from my question in case you hadn't seen the series. That said, the political Fallout side of things and how it was handled in the chain of command seemed very realistic to me. Specifically the way misdeeds are held over everyone in an almost mobster mentality. Its really just personal relationship power dynamics as a microcosm of....... Sorry! Everyone round these parts knows not to get me talking about The Wire!
