Mmhmm. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I'm sick of people telling me I'm brave or inspirational. Mate, I sit on my arse scratching myself and eating pie and am just like anyone else just a bit wonky. That ain't inspirational.

Or when I mention anything to do with RA and get a torrent of sad crying face reacts on social media. I'm not crying so why are they? I only mentioned my new meds or something funny my rheumatologist said, don't go throwing yourself on me in grief you weirdo.

Bastards!

Do you have any feelings towards why so many people blindly trust their data to the cloud? I know some make an informed choice but many simply upload personal images and other data without thinking about it... any views on why that would be?

Thanks for replying! I must admit to judging those who have entirely trusted the cloud in the past - more regarding losing data rather than having data stolen - but you're right, the service should be there to protect them and treat them as a customer and it's feasible that people can believe in it, especially those who don't have much experience or interest with technology in general.

Okay so you have this porn and written erotica. Cool. Actually do think it's cool as written erotica is much better than visual imo. But there are people uploading their entire lives, and not backing it up anywhere else as they feel secure that the data will always be there. Family photos, diaries, videos... it all goes onto the cloud, is deleted from the phone/whatever and only has one backup you have no control over. Given I have two physical backups of my pics and writing I'd hate to lose and that's only temporary til I can get a third backup... I may be at the other end of the scale - too paranoid - but that's certainly preferable to waking up one day and that cloud being empty.
