Don't have a question really, but obviously from your username you are a Manning supporter. Although there is no direct proof that his leaks caused American deaths, I feel that his actions were reprehensible. He was trained to guard classified information. Instead he felt that his judgement was all that mattered and he downloaded hundreds of thousands of documents, many of which did in fact fall into enemy hands. It is hard to know what effect this information had on enemy strategy up to and including possible attacks on American troops. In fact, many of the documents were found in Osama bin Laden's possession at his death:

" Last week, Manning's lawyers said they had reached a deal that may eliminate the need for testimony from a member of the military team that killed Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden. Prosecutors also agreed to accept Manning's guilty plea to a lesser version of one of the counts. Under the agreement, the prosecution and defense teams would acknowledge evidence at the trial that indicated bin Laden saw some of the material Manning released. The raid team member, presumably a Navy SEAL, was expected to testify that the evidence was recovered during the May 2011 raid that killed bin Laden inside his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan"

Although he may have disagreed with the path of the war, his actions most likely placed our troops in jeopardy and I personally hope he is convicted on all charges, including aiding the enemy.

I had a girlfriend who had a reduction a few years ago. Her breasts were hard as a rock for like 6 weeks afterwards before they finally felt like real boobs again. Have you had the same happen with your surgery?

Have you had any action since the surgery or are they still way too sore/sensitive?

Although I am far from an expert, there has only been one instance cited which he reported to a superior officer:

(02:35:46 PM) bradass87: was watching 15 detainees taken by the Iraqi Federal Police… for printing “anti-Iraqi literature”… the iraqi federal police wouldn’t cooperate with US forces, so i was instructed to investigate the matter, find out who the “bad guys” were, and how significant this was for the FPs… it turned out, they had printed a scholarly critique against PM Maliki… i had an interpreter read it for me… and when i found out that it was a benign political critique titled “Where did the money go?” and following the corruption trail within the PM’s cabinet… i immediately took that information and ran to the officer to explain what was going on… he didn’t want to hear any of it… he told me to shut up and explain how we could assist the FPs in finding MORE detainees…

He didn't release documents related solely to that one episode. Instead he data mined hundreds of thousands of documents and released everything he could. Furthermore, even in regards to that one instance, he only went one level higher. As you well know, there are further channels that he could have pursued if his direct superior officer did nothing in regards to this instance. He did not go through those further channels, but instead turned to Julian Assange to distribute the information.

I'm not here to propagandize at all. I don't trust the government on a wide variety of issues. However, 300 million people living by 300 million separate codes of ethics can only lead to anarchy. They need to go through the proper procedures in order to effect change.

I agree with you in the specific case I mentioned. In the case of "rounding up more detainees" that is not a war crime. If instead Manning had actual proof of war crimes (and many of the documents that I have seen border on that) I think American forces did have the authority to change things. Look at the Abu Gharib situation. It came out that some jailers were torturing detainees and as a result the military changed a range of things in regards to how we treat prisoners.
