Why don't you just tag it "spoilers all"? It's kind of messed up that redditors are not allowed to ask questions about Oberyn's most important scene because other redditors haven't read a book that came out fourteen years ago. It's a bit ridiculous.

Have you considered trying to find a more ethical meat supply? If you're down to go veggie, that's great, but I also encourage people to support less cruel meat products. It's more expensive, but you can cut down on consumption. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, but I believe creating a market for less cruelty will help animals as well.

Real life example: my partner is a meat eater. He has switched to only local meat. A lot of other people in our community have as well. Now we have a store that only sells local meat. Ranchers get way more money for their product and treat their animals better. Our local meat now gets exported as well and sells for insane prices on the mainland.

Asking everyone to stop consuming meat is asking a lot. Asking people to educate themselves about what they are eating is not. And don't fall for the "organic" label. Look into conditions.
