That's generally going rate for most television / film workers.

Keep in mind that a day ranges pretty widely - usually no less than 10 hours a day, sometimes as much as 14.

Can be as much as a month between gigs but a successful freelancer usually only has a few days a month down.

Air pollution, noise pollution.

In Los Angeles there's a literal army of laborers who show up every single day to some properties to leaf blow when people used to sweep. Seriously - in other cities, a shop broom. In LA, man with leaf blower. This has the double whammy of both the gas exhaust of the leaf blower, as well as making dried rodent and pigeon poop airborne and inhalable. For a lot of people living here it's a problem for respiration.

I have a client on Venice on the west side of Lincoln and a client on Venice on the east side of Lincoln - barely 1/4 of a mile apart. The reason you just stated is exactly why I prefer the eastern client.

Also, I have seen people get pulled over for that. At Venice / Lincoln AND Adams / Washington.
