Was it you that came up with "ethereal whooshing" for Twin Peaks? Was that your most interesting job with all of the crazy sound effects?

Bret has a podcast as well and his approach is a little different than Joe's. The juxtaposition of their two styles would be awkward and probably funny as hell and make for great theater. They'd probably agree on a bunch of the "liberal outrage" stuff and get going on that.

I got into your work by way of Chuck Palahniuk and I think he may have cited you as an influence at some point. What is your opinion of his novels?

Amongst all the other mass shootings in this country, do you ever feel forgotten? I had to think for a second when I read the title of this AMA as it took me a while to remember this particular shooting. There's been so many, that I think this particular story was only around nationally for a couple days.
