Sebastien and JFK, I’ve loved both of your solo efforts since the band initially broke up, particularly Sebastien Grainger and the Mountains. How do you think the work you did apart from each other influenced your latest songs?

On a side note, I was front row during your set at Lollapalooza in 2011. I cracked a rib a couple of songs into the set and kept rocking all the way through and even managed to snag a drumstick and a setlist (which is now framed with a poster on my wall). I still rank that as one of the most rock and roll shows I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to see you at Voodoo and Fun Fun Fun this fall.

You guys rule. I've been a huge fan for the last six or seven years. The new album is great - "Our Love Survives" is probably my favorite on it.

My question: I know you guys have recorded both in studios and at home on cassettes. What do you prefer? Why? How do you decide what method you want to record?

Also, for Hutch: I believe you have the perfect guitar tone. How do you get it?
