Why are you against independence? I'm from Ireland and there's a vaguely similar situation with Northern Ireland. I never felt like it was any of my business whether the Northern Irish people wished to be part of the UK or part of the Republic or whether they wished to be independent. It's really up to them. I don't live there.

If the people in Catalonia wish to be independent. Even if you personally believe it would be bad for them in some way. I feel like that's their decision.

I'm obviously not OP but as an adult who had a rough as fuck childhood and probably would be in jail if I lived in the US. I think you should try and learn about mindfulness and CBT/DBT related skills, maybe try and do a course in them so you can teach them to the kids you're helping. Proper healthy coping mechanisms are extremely important to learn and a lack of them is common in abused kids.

All of the main dolphin species that are eaten by some Japanese people are not endangered or even threatened. They all have a conservation status of "least concern".

While Haddock, Atlantic Cod and Salmon are vulnerable. Halibut and Bluefin Tuna are endangered. Several types of Sea Bass are nearing extinction.

What kind of facility? I know with orca's, sea-pens for animals that can't be reintroduced are considered best practise by a lot of people. What kind of facilities etc, are considered best practise for walruses? What kind of environment, stimulation, room etc do they need to flourish in captivity?
