But you would be surprised how many rural South Dakotans are absolutely oblivious to where their money is coming from. The smart ones are the ones who are making all the money, the bo-dunks just grow it, take it to the elevator, and piddle their way back home for an early night, so they can wake up early and go gossip like a bunch of disgruntled wives over their morning coffee.

The part most people don't see is the major tax write-offs they get. 2 classmates of mine got brand new cars in high school, because they could be written off for "farm expenses." Yeah.
