What level of articulation and control do you have over your left hand with your current prosthetic and what future developments in prosthetics are you looking forward to?

I signed up and was contacted when I was told I was a possible match. When they went through my medical history I was disqualified by a history of a childhood non-cancerous brain tumor. It was removed surgically, I never had any chemo or radiation, and I am over 35 years without recurrence. Is there no way for me to safely donate?
