A co-owner of the facilities pleaded guilty and got 18 months, as well as having to pay a settlement of 4,75 million. The real estate developer that built the facilities also pleaded guilty and got 1 year, and a 250 k fine.

How much did they make though? Anytime I see how much they paid in fines I think it should be mandatory to report how much they made.

I am not OP there have been several issues in the past with female volunteers coming to harm. These things happen all over the world -- the problem is with the response of Peace Corps (or lack thereof) when they do.

The number is 1 in 5 volunteers are sexually assaulted: http://time.com/4129299/peace-corps-volunteers-sexual-assault/

Here is how Peace Corps has handled it: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cbs-news-finds-peace-corps-volunteers-blamed-fired-after-reporting-sexual-assault/

As far as I know there has not been any wide spread policy changes or leadership held accountable since the news broke.

Everything you said is a reason why tipping should not be a thing. The employers should be responsible.

Yeah, and like imagine. This guy is saying it like it's a bad thing but how much does that show generate in revenue? How much do the artists that win generate in revenue for the music industry? How much entertainment for the population that keeps everyone happy?

If he's a legit artist, being able to have the freedom to pursue a career in the arts and contribute to society that way would be considered a success of UBI.
