Agreed. I'm looking forward to the granular permissions in Marshmallow, but as of right now, root+Xposed with App Ops is the only way to block this stuff, which is a shame.

Ingress is one of the few games that needs location access to function. I see no reason why my Tetris clone app needs to know where I am or what I've been beating off to... or where I've been beating off, for that matter.
