Not OP, but I know some trans people, and it's pretty common to underestimate how much better you'll feel after transition. It makes sense - a fish doesn't notice that water is wet, after all, and so you might not notice that your dysphoria makes you feel awful.
I think you should take your preferred gender for a test drive. Maybe tell a few close friends how you feel, and ask them to call you by the correct pronouns when nobody else is around. I suspect you'll like it a lot and end up transitioning for real :)
