I'm getting my second kidney transplant in a few months. The first experience was awful... and for the next two years the meds made me so sick I didn't feel any better... but 7 years later I'm ready to try again.

Crossing my fingers that this one works better!!! It's the only way I can travel, have kids, and NOT have to spend every Mon, Wed, and Fri hooked up to a machine for 7 hours. Started this shit when I was 23, I'm 34 now and sick of this shit.

Finding this out was one of the most memorable, most exciting things I can remember growing up.

I got a kidney from my sister and instantly I HATED the taste of coffee and suddenly liked dark chocolate and cheese... which were her favourite things. Once the transplant failed I went back to loving coffee and had no cavings for the other things. It was weird.

Yeah it wasn't too bad! Our personalities are really similar so I couldn't tell if I got her traits.

But damn OP that transplant surgery sucked, I can't imagine what you've been through :(
