Would you guys please consider dropping the R and D after a politicians name? This frustrates me to no end, and I think it only help encourage partisanship.

"Sen. Ted Inhofe proposed a bill that ..." Hmm, let me see if this is good or bad, and judge the bill based on it's contents.

"Sen. Ted Inhofe, (R, OK) proposed a bill that ..." THAT DUMB REPUBLICAN! STUPID BILL I'M AGAINST IT! -OR- THIS BILL NEEDS TO PASS AND THOSE DUMB DEMOCRAPS R GUNNA STOP IT HUR DUR!

I have no issue with the state portion of the suffix. Just the R or D. I'm fine with stating where they're from, I don't think that would cause any issues.
