Maybe MS should think of opening a super tent then with the both of you. The Surface is the ideal device for promoting OneNote afaik. It should work hand in hand

Hi I'm a university student and when doing group work we usually turn to google docs for outlining a paper or something. The reason is that MS Word still needs pressing a save button, real-time collaboration does not work like that. So to make my point: one of the nicer things of OneNote is autosave. Another cool feature is synced audio recordings which would be really helpful for class to listen and repeat the lecture material later. Unfortunately 1) you need permission from the lecturer to audiotape him or her and (as pointed out somewhere else on this AmA) 2) the recording feature often breaks (arbitrarily stopped recording or silent recording)

are you planning on implementing transclusion in OneNote? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transclusion
background: as a student I would like to have 1 page for each class session but after some time I want to view everything as one single page (without the need to change the session page).
my wish: either transclusion or at least a option to view all pages of a segment (or using subpages and concat them in the parent page)

What's the prime channel for giving you feedback when there's no AMA around? Do you frequently check http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/onenote?tab=Threads or is it rather that moderators forward important bugs or often suggested feature requests to you? (e.g. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-onenote/cant-take-picture-with-onenote-2013/cc44ab08-d556-4c7d-a2a0-908817bdcf7a)

speaking of shortcuts: Are you planning on letting users customize some shortcuts? Especially the German version of OneNote has some rather poor shortcut choices due to the different keyboard layout (it's QWERTZ instead of QWERTY and we don't have dedicated [ ] / keys)
