Of course! I remember reading a parenthetical about BSG to that effect somewhere, but I don't remember where. I just remember that I had a lot of respect for the author, so I instantly went from being prejudiced against the show despite never having watched it (it's a cheesy Canadian sci-fi show, my friends were extras on it so how good could it be, etc.) to thinking, "well, if this guy says it's good, I had better watch it."

Anyway, I wound up watching the show and being a huge fan, and I always mentally gave you credit for it because I couldn't think of who else's writing I liked enough to convince me to watch the show.

This is a weird question, but did you ever write a piece with a parenthetical about Battlestar Galactica bring one of your favourite shows of all time?
