Hey, I had the exact same thing with hives while swimming in the ocean, and even pools, after 2 years it turned out to be an allergy to something in the water. Could be pollen, dust, whatever. This enters your sweat glands when they open to release sweat from working hard swimming and causes a massive allergic reaction in the form of itchy red raised hives. Try taking a reactine or Benadryl 20 mins before swimming and see if that works. Hope that helps, pm me if you want to chat more.
