I've been to that casino in the basement of the Yanggakdao hotel. It's really strage. And yes I heard of special 'massages' given by the Chinese girls in the 'massage' club.

As a side note I also met an Aussie-Lebanese guy in the rotating restaurant who was there negotiating an arms sale for Syria - quite surreal.

Some of the traffic ladies are hot

When i was there i learnt how to say "you are very beautiful, will you marry me?" in Korean and yelled it out the bus window every time we went through an intersection. I got quite a few smiles and even some giggles from the traffic girls.

I was in Pyongyang during an air raid drill. Didn't know it was a drill at first because they take it so seriously! The only buildings with lights on were the two hotels and the diplomatic quarter... and a few random lights (prob less than 5 that i could see) across a city of ~3million. A vehicle went around to the apartments with lights still on blaring something out of a speaker. It was translated to me as something like "turn off your light immediately (for the glory of the revolution blah blah blah) or we will humiliate you by name on national television tomorrow", which i assume is going to assure their demotion at the No. 3 Textile Factory / cancel their once-a-year ration of chicken.

maybe off track, but do you know how to stream audio so it's in sync at the client's end? i.e. have it playing from multiple computers in different rooms and they are all in sync
