I don't think it's fair to assume but statistically you may be correct to assume. (Of course, so many unsolved with no information so it skews it a bit off the bat)

From personal experiences, the city im from in Ontario has had multiple native/aboriginal murders somewhat recently that are linked back to a native/aboriginal spouse or boyfriend etc...

It seems common that aggression and abuse of substances is pretty profound in that community. We'll what goes hand in hand with that? Yeah...
