A choke point, for the entire rest of the world who's played video games.

REMEMBER THIS PHOTOGRAPH.

Print this picture out and tape it up everywhere in your house. This will be your motivation. Put it by your alarm clock so you see it when you get up in the morning and before you go to bed. Tape it up by the fridge for when you're cooking dinner. Put a copy in the car to give you something to think about while you drive.

Edit: Here's my effort at encouragement. I want you to remember what that photograph looks like every time you start feeling down. You DO have the capability to achieve this. You're biggest enemy is yourself: do NOT allow yourself the luxury of self pity.

Surround yourself with people who encourage you and exert a positive influence. I want you to come back in six months and post an update AMA, with pictures showing how're you're coming closer to making my shopped pic closer to becoming your reality.

And there might be a lot of invisible effects. Maybe political web sites that you agree with have more trouble loading and take longer than opposite sites, because some telecom execs have decided to put their fingers on the political scale without anybody even knowing.

This, to me, is the scariest and most treacherous implication of revoking net neutrality. Could you imagine one of these giant media conglomerates getting in bed with a character like Steve Bannon? It would be literally disasterous.

Right? I made this point to one of my reps, who didn't bother to read my letter: this would turn campaign contributions on it's head. Instead of media companies giving money to political campaigns to ensure their success, it would be political campaigns giving money to the media companies.
