How has this effected your mental health, and the views others have of you? Were you able to make a stable income to support your family up to now?

I love entrepreneurship and respect you for taking a leave and entering a field that you feel passionate about. Board games feel arbitrary to me, but hey if it's your thing go for it. Is it hard to find someone to sell to, or are you always busy designing and with commissions? Did you start out rough, and how long did it take for everything to smooth out if so? Thinking of starting a business when I finish undergrad, but looking for experience from others first.
