I know a few people who have worked at vice. The pay is shit and they run you like a borrowed mule. People want to work for Vice because they think it's cool and they know this and take advantage of it. Of the people I know only one has actually wanted to stay after a few months of this treatment.

It's far worse. Their turnover is ridiculously high.
