  1. Where are you originally from, and how is this legal given your age?

  2. What do you specifically do on the team? (I'm assuming that you're not performing any actual surgeries yourself.)

Hi Nick! I love you in pretty much everything you do--Parks & Rec, voice work, We're the Millers, American Ham, etc. You're so talented and well-rounded and humble, and I respect the hell out of you for that.

I guess my question is, what do you and Megan Mullally do for fun together? What do you guys do for special occasions versus regular days?

Thanks!!

Thanks so much for this AMA! It's really awesome.

You mentioned you want to raise your children just like you were, steeped in indigenous culture. Do you mind sharing some of the cultural practices you feel strongly about imparting on your future children/generations?

Even if it's just little things like particular decorations/organizations of the home, I'd love to know. Like most people in this AMA I know little to nothing about indigenous customs, culture, etc., so you sharing your knowledge is very much appreciated.

Hi Ryan!

I’ve seen in a good handful of recorded performances that you’re pretty aware of being “rare,” in the sense that you’re an Asian man doing magic with this incredible stage presence, speaking fluent English but also playing up some “Asian” tropes (i.e., karate in your magic).

My question is: do you feel in any way responsible for Asian American representation when you perform, and how do you decide to navigate the stereotype/something-cool-you-just-like-to-do line when you write performances?

Huge fan of your magic shows btw! I’ve never seen someone make a magic performance so funny!
