Hey Zaid, Lee, and Dan. Your work is a breath of fresh air compared to the other mainstream media outlets. Thank you for everything that you do. My questions are:

When you're doing the live blog of a debate, you guys are all tweeted and posting so much, do you prepare things beforehand, or is it all done on the fly?

What does adversarial journalism mean to you?

I'm also a huge fan of Democracy Now. What's it like getting the chance to be on their podcast?

Thanks!

Last December I disrupted a Trump rally. I'll say that it was pretty scary having Trump and 5,000 of his supporters all angry at me. Do you ever get nervous asking hard questions to people in positions of power?

Thanks for the reply!

I followed your livestream last night and it definitely made stomaching the "debate" a lot easier. I'm impressed that your guys could go in mostly unpreparesd, and still produce so much quality material. What I enjoyed most about it--which was in stark contrast to some of the other coverage I was getting (even on public television)--was that you actually discussed the things that candidates were saying, instead of how they were saying it. Very cool!
