You mentioned you haven't talked to the instructor, but do you know if he still skydives? Glad, your story has a happy ending. A guy from my alma mater passed away in a skydiving accident weeks before his graduation.

I was not so kindly told in another thread not to comment on things I know nothing about (my first comment was a story and people asked questions about it). I would imagine it's the not knowing part. Also, I'm an airman and I forgive you for not knowing the correct terminology.
