If you’re into video games have you tried out Kingdom Come Deliverance? From what I know it’s incredibly accurate and they were really meticulous in the design.

Start learning about basic composition first. Try an app like snapseed for basic edits.

Hardware does not matter compared to the skill of the photographer until you start pushing into niche applications where high end gear is required.

Most manufacturers have entry level gear. I started off on a Canon Rebel, it’s a great camera and will last you for years before you’ll need to upgrade. I also know a few people who really enjoy using don’t equipment.

As far as software, you can get open source programs like Gimp and rawtherapee to replace your adobe suite. I love using adobe, but the free stuff works. I believe there’s other options as well.

How can you call yourself an engineer if you dropped out? Is that not a protected title where you’re from?
