I lived in Laramie for a year. Dont go to Laramie, Cheyenne, Casper, or Rock Springs. Theyre not what you would imagine as they are the developed areas. Well, wyomings version of developed. If you just pass those and head to the nature areas and very small towns, you would love the state, and get the vibe youre looking for.
