He's in Britain, we'll patiently wait and then complain about it to everyone later.

For example, technology certainly helps couples to stay more in touch with each other, including couples in long distance relationships. However technology also makes stalking easier and opens the door to cyber sexual assaults.

I'm curious about the concept of cyber sexual assaults.

I was under the impression that sexual assault is unwanted sexual physical contact/touching without consent.

How is it that people are doing this digitally without being in physical contact with someone?

It's worth noting that Fentanyl is extremely potent:

Fentanyl is approximately 80 to 100 times more potent than morphine and roughly 40 to 50 times more potent than pharmaceutical grade (100% pure) heroin.

So recreational dose levels (edit: for people with no tolerance) are on the ranges of:

Threshold - 5 - 10 ug
Light - 10 - 25 ug
Common - 25 - 50 ug
Strong - 50 - 75 ug

I have no idea how cut this sort of stuff would be during shipment before street sales, but when you can get ~20 doses out of 1 milligram (e.g. 20,000 doses out of 1 gram). I can certainly see how this sort of stuff can easily get into a country without being caught.

But that's not physical touching, which is (as far as I know) generally one of the defining factor of sexual assault.

For example in the UK:

Sexual assault is a statutory offence in England and Wales. It is created by section 3 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 which defines "sexual assault" as when a person (A)

  • intentionally touches another person (B),
  • the touching is sexual,
  • B does not consent to the touching, and
  • A does not reasonably believe that B consents.

As a laymen, I'd have thought unsolicited dick pics would fall under something more like sexual harassment, not any sort of sexual assault on a person under general definitions.
