Thanks for doing this AMA! I have two questions I hope you can answer.
I heard that the plum jobs are the English teaching jobs at universities where you teach English or subjects in English. Is there a way for a person to directly get one of those jobs or do you need to start teaching high school in Korea or something like that before moving up?
I heard stories that there is a premium for English instructors if they are obviously foreign (ie. not East Asian). Do you know if this is the case and how much of a difference in pay or treatment East Asian instructors get versus non East Asians?
