What does your desk look like?

How many cups of coffee on average do you go through, trying to finish your work for any given show?

How do you deal with writer's block?

Buffalo wings or pizza?

And, just as a favour to me, please tell me to stop lagging behind and buy Final Draft (scriptwriting programme) already. I know everyone uses it (particularly in writing for television - the field I'm hoping to move into) but ughhh spending money fucking sucks.

I have really loved reading through your responses in this thread so far, and my girlfriend and I are definitely going to see your film if it comes out in the UK (and I hope it does!). The trailer looks great and having read about your fight to make it happen, I think I'll appreciate the finished product even more when I get to see it.

In terms of a question: I'm a screenwriter that has had to put writing on hold while scrabbling for work to support myself in London. Sometimes it seems almost impossible to immerse myself in my own creative world when I keep getting that constant wrenching feeling about applying for more work, or whenever bills and bank balances inevitably come back to my thoughts. I wondered if you might have any advice for writing-whilst-jobhunting, or tales of how you kept your creativity alive during periods of stress when you were starting out? Did you schedule time for yourself to specifically write, or have any systems to keep yourself working?

Either way, I just want to wish you the best of luck with The Good Lie and say that I've thoroughly enjoyed going through this AMA. :]
